An excellent place for all your shopping occasions is the Denham Springs Antiques and Arts Village. And don't be misled by the "antiques" names. Although the shops certainly have an abundance of fine antique furniture, if you're in the market for smaller ticket items, they have an abundance of those, too.
Take a trip through any of the numerous shops and you'll discover many one-of-a-kind items that make excellent gifts and won't be found at the mall. The choices include new and collectible jewelry and accessories, original art, home decor, flower arrangements, books, vases and pottery, as well as silver items, china, antique linens and many, many more one-of-a-kind treasures.

The antiques district hosts two extremely popular street fests each year: the Spring Fest on the last Saturday of each April, and the Fall Fest on the first Saturday of each October. From 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on these days, Range Avenue through downtown Denham Springs is closed to automobile traffic.
Attractions include antiques, of course, and arts and crafts items, a variety of foods, activities for children and live music and a doggie fashion show at the Train Station Park.During Christmas and other shopping holidays, downtown merchants offer special sale prices along with refreshments, hospitality and personal assistance seldom found any more.
